Strength training for iPhone
Say hello to getting stronger.
Set the number you are chasing, follow a program that gets you there, and log every set as you lift it. HelloReps tracks your records, volume and rest from what you actually did, so you can see the progress — and know when you have reached your goal.

The set card
The one surface you learn by touch.
The set you are on is a large pale slab: weight and reps as big numerals, targets above them, reps-in-reserve chips, a note field and one orange button. It is the same in light and dark, because it is the one thing people use in a gym without looking.
Three things it shows that other logs do not:
- What there is to beat, at the weight in the field. Your most reps ever at that load, and within the last twelve months, recomputed as you change the weight. Nothing at that load shows nothing rather than a guess.
- Last session, inline.
80×8 · 80×8 · 85×6 · 85×5under the numbers, so you know what you did last time without leaving the screen. - Effort before logging. Reps in reserve is entered on the card, before the set is logged, not remembered afterwards.

One timeline, two modes
Plan and Workout are the same list.
A session is a single unbroken list of every set, crossing exercise boundaries. Plan and Workout are two renderings of that list at the same scroll position. You switch without losing your place.

Rest
Measured, not timed.
Rest is stored as timestamps and derived as durations. The clock in the session bar is not a timer: it is now minus when you finished your last set, computed fresh every time you look. That is why it survives backgrounding, force-quit and a reboot.
- Two ways to measure, one set of stored fields. Cycle mode needs no extra taps and counts from your last completed set. Explicit mode adds one tap to mark the start of a set, which buys you set duration as well as rest.
- The label is honest about which one you chose. In cycle mode the live count says Since last set, because it includes performing the current one. Only explicit mode earns the word resting.
- Across the whole workout, in order. The gap before exercise 2's first set is measured from exercise 1's last.
- Switch how rest is measured and your entire history re-reads. Only timestamps were ever saved.
- On the Lock Screen and in the Dynamic Island, with pause from the lock screen. A sound that plays through the silent switch, vibration, and a spoken "Rest over" for a phone in a pocket.

Programs
Start from a real plan.
Eleven ready-made programs. Take one and it is yours to change. Five for a first block in the gym, four for the year after, two for people chasing a specific number.
The plans prescribe sets, reps and rest, never a weight. A plan cannot know what you squat, and one that arrived saying 80 kg would be a guess dressed as a prescription. The app fills weights in from what you last lifted where it knows, and you enter the rest as you go.

The library
930 exercises, each with a photo, instructions and a muscle map.
Filed under 10 muscle groups across 8 kinds of equipment: bodyweight, barbell, dumbbell, cable, machine, kettlebell, band and other. Muscle maps are drawn on front and back figures, male or female, with primary and secondary muscles rendered differently, so an accessory movement is never allowed to overstate itself.
Custom exercises are yours, in your own words, and are never translated.

Progress
Watch it move.
Estimated 1RM over time, per exercise, over 1M, 3M, 6M, 1Y or all of it. Heaviest weight, best estimated 1RM, total volume, Wilks score. Volume per week, sessions and time, with the change against the previous period. Personal records, derived from the log.
None of it is stored. Estimates are never stored, so changing the 1RM formula in Settings re-reads every set you have ever logged: the card, the charts and your records all move together. Pick a different formula per rep range, and the app tells you where a formula starts to misbehave.
Warm-ups are left out of volume, estimated 1RM and records.
